Nobody could have predicted Tagovailoa head injury would sustain

another head and brain damage four days after what seemed to be a head injury on Sunday.

After his head slammed the canvas once again

against the Cincinnati Bengals, Tagovailoa lay still on the field with his hands up in a fencing reaction.

It was a humiliating moment for the NFL.

The Dolphins confirmed during the game that Tagovailoa had received concussion treatment

been discharged from a local trauma facility, and would be returning home to Miami with the group.

Dolphins coach Mike McDaniel described his conversation with Tagovailoa after the play by saying

He was begging for me."

And as he looked at me, I realised he wasn't the same person I usually saw.
