Russia recently began a massive mobilisation that included the recruitment of nearly 300,000 soldiers.

But many of them, including a local rapper, are staunchly opposed to the war. This is Walkie, real name Ivan Vitalievich Petunin.

According to The Sun, Walkie just committed suicide because he was so opposed to the conflict in Ukraine.

Prior to his death, he said in a video that he would rather to be dead than take another man's life.

In the city of Krasnodar, his corpse was discovered next to a tall structure.

Along with this catastrophe, Walkie had earlier enrolled in a mental institution in order to escape

joining the Russian army.

Russia has been waging a war in Ukraine for about eight months at this point.

However, many feel that President Vladimir Putin is having difficulties

and that Ukraine is beginning to cause Russia greater problems.
