It had maximum sustained winds of 130 miles per hour and was travelling northeast at 10 miles per hour.

According to the NHC, Fiona remains strong, and meteorological conditions in Bermuda.

It is predicted that from now until Friday there will be a north-northeast or northeast motion with an increase in forward speed.

followed by a little slower northward movement starting Friday night or Saturday.

The core of Fiona will pass just west of Bermuda tonight, according to the projected track.

On Friday, the storm will strike Nova Scotia before moving through the province and into the Gulf of St. Lawrence on Saturday.
