French Montana, a rapper, claimed he was supposedly recording a music video in a restaurant when a shooting occurred outside and injured several people.

The incident happened on Thursday evening outside a restaurant in south Florida that is a part of a restaurant chain owned by DJ Khaled.
Just before 8 o'clock local time, Miami Gardens Police and Miami-Dade Fire Rescue units responded to reports of a shooting at the scene, according to local news source 7News.
The musician has already published a statement about the incident. In 2013, he dated Khloe Kardashian for a year.
He wrote on Twitter, "Last night, I was in Miami celebrating the release of my CB6 mixtape with pals at a nearby restaurant."
Unfortunately, when an incident occurred that caused injuries, we were in the wrong place at the wrong time.
At this time, "the victims and their families are in our thoughts and prayers."
In a statement, the restaurant chain The Licking said: "Our hearts are heavy and go out to the victims of this cruel act."
