Texas girl shoots father a ‘murder pact with friend’

According to authorities, a 12-year-old Texas girl shot her father as part of a murder pact she struck with a buddy.

The sisters spent weeks planning to murder their relatives and their dogs before driving off to Georgia, according to the Parker County Sheriff’s Office.

However, the friend failed to uphold her half of the agreement, and the 12-year-old girl ended up shooting her own father on the street outside of her house before turning the pistol on herself.

Investigators with the sheriff’s office said that the little girl is thought to have shot her father, left the scene, and then shot herself. A firearm was discovered laying underneath the young suspect, according to a press statement from the police.

A gunshot was reported last Tuesday at about 11:30 p.m. in Weatherford, Texas, a tiny town 30 miles west of Fort Worth, according to police.

When they got there, they discovered the girl with a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head lying on the street in front of the house.

Police discovered her 38-year-old father inside the home with an abdominal gunshot wound.

Both patients’ health is unclear as they were flown to a neighbouring hospital.

Police said that after killing her father, the daughter intended to travel 230 miles to the Texas town of Lufkin, where she would pick up her buddy and start their escape.

The girls’ motivation for wanting to escape and murder their relatives is yet unknown.

It makes no difference whether they reside in a large metropolis or a tiny village. Unfortunately, things like this sometimes occur, said Jessica Pebworth, director of communications for Lufkin.

The author stated, “I would say that this circumstance is certainly a moment to caution parents that it’s vital to know who their children are friends with, whether that’s in the classroom, social networking applications, Snapchat, TikTok, and then also gaming platforms.

In order to protect the children, police stated they are keeping the girls’ identities private due to their young age and the injured father’s identity as well.

According to the police, the Lufkin girl was accused of conspiring to commit a crime.
