Due to the artist, now going by Ye legally, Kanye West’s antisemitic statements, his Twitter and Instagram accounts have been blocked.

Ye sent things that were against their rules, according to Sunday statements from Meta, the company that owns Twitter and Instagram.

Internet archive data show that late on Saturday, Ye tweeted that he will shortly commit “death con 3 on JEWISH PEOPLE.” That appears to be a reference to the DEFCON scale, which measures the readiness of the American military.

He said: “You people have messed with me and attempted to black ball everyone whoever opposes your agenda” in the same message, which Twitter later removed.

Ye received backlash earlier this month for presenting his collection at Paris Fashion Week while sporting a “White Lives Matter” T-shirt.

rapper Sean “Diddy” Combs warned fans not to purchase the shirt in a video that was released on Instagram.

According to media sources, Ye claimed that Diddy was under the influence of Jews in a snapshot of a text message that he had with Ye.

The two social networks forbid the posting of foul words as per their regulations. Ye’s Twitter account is still open, but he is unable to tweet until the suspension is lifted, which may take an arbitrary amount of time.

Instagram and Facebook’s parent company, Meta, occasionally imposes limits on accounts that it believes often violate its rules. Temporary bans on posting, commenting, and direct messaging are possible penalties.

Ye allegedly stopped using Twitter for over two years after Instagram banned his account. He started using it again on Saturday.

Elon Musk, a billionaire and CEO of Tesla, welcomed Ye’s return to the site prior to his suspension by writing, “Welcome back to Twitter, my buddy.” This comes after months of legal wrangling with the firm. Last week, Musk reiterated his $44 billion bid to purchase Twitter.

Although it’s hard to know exactly how Musk would govern the powerful network if he were to take it, he has promised to transform Twitter into a refuge for free expression and ease constraints.
