Today, Robbie Coltrane, a popular co-star from the Harry Potter films, received homage from Daniel Radcliffe, who remembered him as “one of the funniest guys I’ve ever met.”
“Robbie was one of the funniest guys I’ve known and used to keep us laughing continuously as kids on the set,” Radcliffe said of the actor, who passed away Thursday at the age of 72, in a statement acquired by Deadline. On Prisoner of Azkaban, when we were all sheltering from the pouring rain for hours in Hagrid’s hut and he was keeping spirits high by telling stories and cracking jokes, I have very happy memories of him doing so. I count it a great privilege to have worked and known him, and I’m very sorry to hear of his demise.. He was a kind man and an amazing performer.
